CAMPUS HIGHLIGHTS

Integrated Program:

SMART (Science& Mathematics Academy for the Real Talent ) has been producing outstanding results in Olympiads, IIT-JEE, BITSAT & AIEEE over the years . The management has decided to introduce Smart Class in Std XI in the academic year 2014-15.

X – Seed:

Globalization of education has led to sweeping changes in the educational field. Traditional method of ‘chalk & talk’ and memo- rization have been replaced by innovative class room teaching. So the Management has decided to introduce the X SEED Programme at the KG level. It is a path breaking and new educational programme initiated by Discoveri – a social enterprises with a mission to unleash the potential of all students, founded and led by Alumni of Harvard, Cambridge, IIMS and other leading institutions.

Report Bee:

Report Bee, an IIT Madras incubated company, provides a platform for schools to measure and improve learning through interesting data insights. Their report card gives a colourful representation of the schools and students’ performances that helps teachers and parents understand how well each subject is taught and how well children receive what is being taught. Report Bee also provides registries that reduces the manual workload for teachers and a thinking health card that aims to monitor every child’s medical and social health.

Scholarship:

The management has instituted scholarship for the needy and the deserving students since 2012-13. Every year 12 students receive this scholarship.

Shri Vallabh Cultural Academy:

To promote and nurture Indian art and culture and also to provide more opportunities to develop their innate talents and to impress upon young minds the significance of Indian heritage, values and virtues, art and culture, the school conducts the following classes under the name of Shri Vallabh Cultural Academy.

Classes are conducted for the following disciplines : Vocal, Dance, Guitar, Violin, Veena, Mridangam, Tabla, Flute, Yoga and the Key Board.

Students of classes V to VIII attend any one of the above disciplines after taking an aptitude test. The classes are conducted on Mondays and Wednesdays from 2.20 p.m to 3.45 p.m.

Vocational Courses:

As per the CBSE guidelines, Vocational course was introduced in class IX in 2013 – 2014. Information Technology (IT) has been chosen as the subject for the vocational course.
