Lime Light

Malavikaa of std. XII, the singing sensation of the school, received a cash award of Rs.1,00,000/- for performing at the Museum Theatre with the Madras Chamber Orchestra on 10th August 2017 . She received the cheque from all the Freemasons of District of Madras for her outstanding performance .

G .Indumathi, S. Mohanasri, J.D Yogitha of std VIII; R. Ashmitha and A.N. Sainikaa of std IV and M. Haritha of std II participated in the “Vidhaikalam”, the Guinness World Record Event of Sword Dance on 29th July 2017 at Police Training College. They received Certificate of Achievement for their commendable performance.

Avikshit Vijay Viswanath of std VI, participated in the CBSE South Zone Skating Championship held at Edify School , Tirupati, in the under -12 years group and won the 1 Position in the events- Rink II and Rink III.

Our distinguished Alumnus, Shri G.Vinod, Scientist-C, has made outstanding contribution in collaborative evolution, design, development and integration of Data Link Layer of UHF ECCM MANET waveform. In recognition of his significant contribution to the project Integrated Development of Software Defined Radio for Indian Navy, “The Laboratory Scientist of the Year Award for the year 2016” was conferred on him by the Defence Electronics Applications Laboratory , Dehradun.

A Yoga programme was conducted in the school in collaboration with Isha Foundation on the occasion of International Yoga Day for the students of std IX and XI on 29th August 2017.

A human chain rally was organized by the school in collaboration with Isha Foundation to create awareness on rejuvenating Indian rivers on 1st September 2017. The human chain was formed between the school and the Anna Arch. Around 270 students of std IX-XI participated in the rally .
